Flowers

I was thinking blue flowers since that is my favorite color, and blue and green are going to be our wedding colors. Here are some links to sites that I think have great flowers and ideas.

Storkie

I really love tulips, but they might be hard to come by in September, and cost much more than I am willing to pay. But we shall see.

Indecisive about everything

I cannot make up my mind about where to have the wedding, reception, or even what theme. I thought I wanted to get married on the beach but now I'm not sure. I have been looking at some Renaissance themed weddings and it's made me question what exactly I want in a wedding.

I don't think I have a dream wedding. As a little girl I never played house, I was more of the tag you're it kind of kid. I thought house was stupid. When I was 10 or so I actually said that I would never get married. So all those women that have fantasied about marriage from childhood have nothing in common with me. I really don't know what I want.

The few things I do know are: I want to marry the love of my life Kris, I am not willing to go into debt over this, I want our wedding day to be about US and to celebrate our union. I guess I had the Braveheart wedding type in mind, minus dudes kidnapping me of course. They didn't plan that crap for months or take out loans, they just PARTIED. That's what I want but I want it to be beautiful and meaningful. And possibly on a beach, in renaissance attire, on a roller coaster. :)

How We Met

How much back story should I give? Hmm.... Well I suppose it all started at Sheetz, where we met. I can't really give all my juicy secrets away because my fiancĂ© still works there. When I first saw him I thought "Wow, that guy seems like he can be a little scary, but he sure is hot." Yep exact statement inside my head and it pretty much went from there. He was intimidating! But being as crazy as I am, I couldn't stop thinking about him.
Long story short, I invited him over to a party and he never left! I remember thinking how perfect he was for me because he liked to sleep all day. Haha! Now I get mad when he sleeps all day (from working overnights) and I want to do fun stuff, like I dunno... TALK!

The first Pic I took of him. Kitten approved of him early on, even if he wasn't sure about her!

There really is more to this story, but my man still works at that gas station and he would not want all the details out for all the world to google. One day, when he doesn't work there, the full story will be told!
We've been dating since January 17th, 2011 and it feels like we've known each other all our lives. Sometimes it feels like we've been dating for a short time, and other times I feel like we've been together for decades. It's strange, that's for sure, but I wouldn't have us any other way :)

Engaged!!!

Finally! Kris popped the question on the beach at Ocean City on May 4th, 2014 by writing "Will U Marry Me?" in the sand. He's the sweetest thing I've ever met. Not really surprised when he did it, we've been talking about getting hitched for months now. It was still adorable though. I thought it felt like we were married before he asked me that question; but now I'm not so sure. It's weird to say we're engaged, getting married, and that he is my fiancĂ©. It doesn't feel real yet, I guess. Honestly it's a scary ordeal at this point and a little overwhelming! I want to start our life together the right way, but don't wanna break the bank to do it. So much thought goes into every detail, that I can barely decide a date yet. I'm so scatter-brained! And I wanted to go to sleep like 2 hours ago since the Ocean City trip was exhausting, but I've been all over Pinterest and Google and well...EVERYTHING. I can't stop and I've been engaged for 31 hours! This isn't looking good for the long term stamina wise LOL. Gotta slow it down so I don't go crazy and Kris will still want to actually marry me!
